International genètic variety improvement programme involving fruit futur, the irta, and their new zealand partners, plant & food research, in response to the challenges posed by climate change. Nufri, com a partner de Fruit Futur, és membre i participa activament en el Hot Climate Program.

PhotonFruit:
Digital monitoring for precision fruit cultivation using affordable photonic solutions. The project is led by researchers from IRTA and Agrotecnio-UdL, in collaboration with Nufri. This research initiative tackles the challenge of transferring cost-effective precision agriculture tools to the fruit-growing sector. The study will focus on assessing new monitoring methodologies based on low-cost photonic sensors, such as RGB-D cameras and solid-state LiDAR sensors.
